Welcome to mAIChef! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the mAIChef mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by mAIChef ("we", "us", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using mAIChef, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• Will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

2. Account Registration

2.1 Account Creation

You may use some features as a guest, but full functionality requires an account. When creating an account:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

2.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities under your account. We are not liable for losses due to unauthorized account use.

3. Service Description

mAIChef provides:

• AI-powered recipe generation based on your preferences
• Recipe discovery and search functionality
• Personal recipe cookbook storage
• Dietary preference and allergy management

3.1 AI-Generated Content

Recipes generated by our AI are for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee:

• Accuracy of nutritional information
• Suitability for specific medical conditions
• Allergen-free preparation (always verify ingredients)
• Professional culinary quality

Always consult a healthcare provider for dietary needs related to medical conditions.

4. User Tiers and Limitations

4.1 Guest Users

• 3 AI recipe generations (lifetime total)
• Cannot save recipes
• Limited features

4.2 Free Users

• 5 AI recipe generations per week
• Save up to 15 recipes
• Basic features

4.3 Premium Users

• Unlimited AI recipe generations
• Unlimited saved recipes
• 200 HD recipe images per month
• Photo-to-recipe analysis
• Priority support

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Premium Subscription

• Available as monthly or annual plans
• Auto-renews unless cancelled
• Prices may change with notice

5.2 Cancellation

• Cancel anytime through your app store account settings
• Access continues until the end of the billing period
• No partial refunds for unused time

5.3 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store according to their policies.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for illegal purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the Service
• Upload malicious content or viruses
• Impersonate others or create fake accounts
• Abuse the AI system or circumvent usage limits
• Scrape or harvest data from the Service
• Resell or redistribute content without permission
• Use the Service to generate harmful or offensive content

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

The mAIChef app, including its design, code, AI models, and branding, is our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without permission.

7.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of recipes you create or upload. By using the Service, you grant us a license to store, display, and process your content to provide the Service.

7.3 AI-Generated Recipes

Recipes generated by our AI are provided for your personal use. You may share them freely, but we retain rights to the underlying AI technology.

8. Disclaimers

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• AI-generated recipes will meet your specific needs
• Nutritional information is accurate for all purposes
• The Service will be available in all regions

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
• We are not responsible for third-party services or content

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless mAIChef from any claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ends immediately
• We may delete your data after 30 days
• Provisions that should survive (disclaimers, limitations) remain in effect

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law
